Kecskemet College (C Hungary) is teaming up with the local units of German carmaker Daimler and brake maker Knorr-Bremse on the launch of practice-oriented instruction from the autumn of 2012, said rector Jozsef Danyi.

The cooperation is part of the school’s adoption – with other schools across the country – of a dual education system, one that combines apprenticeships and vocational training, as in German schools.

Daimler is building a €800m compact car plant in Kecskemet. The first serial production model is set to roll of the line in Q1 2012.
