Hungary’s Semmelweis University inks agreement with Samsung Medison

Hungary’s Semmelweis University and South-Korean medical instrument research and manufacturing company Samsung Medison recently signed a cooperation agreement, Hungary’s National Economy Ministry announced today.
Under the agreement signed by university rector Ágoston Szél and Samsung Medison Vice President Spittle Wayne, Samsung will establish its Central and Eastern European diagnostics education center at the university, which is the oldest post-secondary medical institution in Hungary.
During his visit to South Korea, National Economy Minister Mihály Varga referred to the cooperation between the university and the company as exemplary, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
