Hungary appreciates Kuwait's balanced foreign policy, its active contribution to security in the Gulf region and the global efforts against terrorism, Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány told Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohamed Sabah as-Salem as-Sabah in Budapest on Monday.

Gyurcsány’s press office said that the two men had discussed trade issues and the possibility of Hungarian firms taking part in infrastructure projects set to take place in Kuwait. Hungary pays special attention to developing economic ties with the Gulf region, first of all with Kuwait, its traditional trading partner, the Hungarian Prime Minister said. They also talked about potential cooperation in energy generation, vehicle manufacturing, agriculture, biotechnology, transfer of technology, vocational training, research and development, local media reported. We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
