Hungarian ministry signs cooperation agreement with International student organization
The Hungarian Ministry of Human Capacities signed a cooperation agreement with the Hungarian branch of the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE), an international student organization involved in organizing technical work experience abroad, Hungarian news agency MTI reported yesterday.
According to the Lászlo Palkovics, the higher education state secretary who signed the document, the government will launch the Campus Mundi program to support Hungarian students pursuing part-time studies abroad, spending some HUF 9.2 bln.
The state secretary also noted that 7.8% of students at Hungarian universities are international students, and there is room for more. He added that the government aims to provide more opportunities for Hungarian students to study abroad.
