Hungarian firm to supply Airbus Defence and Space with satellite components
Hungarian firm Admatis (Advanced Materials in Space) has been awarded a contract to deliver 140 satellite components to Airbus Defence and Space for Sentinel-2C and -2D satellites, Hungary’s National Development Ministry announced today, according to reports.
To fill the order, Admatis will cooperate with 30 other companies, including foreign firms, as well as members of the HUNSPACE Hungary Space Industry Cluster, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today.
Admatis had revenue of HUF 71 million in 2014, MTI said, citing public records.
The general manager of the company is also the material science professor at Miskolc University, as such he serves as a gateway between his company and students in the course of their research for dissertations, according to the companyʼs website.
