Government commissioner named for Treasury restructuring

A government commissioner has been appointed to carry out the restructuring of the Hungarian State Treasury, a resolution published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny shows, Hungarian news agency MTI reported yesterday.
The commissioner, József Mészáros, will make recommendations on "expanding tasks in the Treasuryʼs scope of influence" and participate in drafting the requisite regulations.
Mészáros will answer to the head of the Prime Ministerʼs Office and the economy minister.
His work will be supported by the staff of the National Economy Ministry and he may require tasks from the heads of the National Pension Directorate and the National Health Insurance Fund as well as the Treasury.
