Gazprom investment program in 2008 approved at $28.7 billion

Gazprom’s board of directors approved Thursday an investment program of 710.13 billion rubles ($28.75 billion), a budget and an optimization program for 2008, the Russian energy giant said.
The project envisions capital investment of 479.42 billion rubles ($19.4 billion), and long-term financial contributions of 230.71 billion rubles ($9.34 billion). The optimization program suggests measures aimed at reducing spending by 10.1 billion rubles ($409 million). (rian.ru)
