The National Economy Ministry is planning to issue its initial tenders for European Union funding for the 2014-2020 budget period in late summer or early fall, as opposed to the previously scheduled middle or end of October, Balázs Rákossy, the ministry state secretary in charge of the utilization of EU funding, said in an interview on a radio program today.

Rákossy noted that the initial tenders would be issued for the development of SME investments through the Economic Development and Innovative Operative Program (GINOP).
