Budapest subway to stop for two days at end of March

Operations will be suspended on the entire length of Budapest’s line 4 metro on March 28 and March 29 for a test operation to be performed by the authorities, BKK Centre for Budapest Transport announced on its portal today.
Replacement buses will be deployed to cover service of the entire line with some additional stops being added, operating on bus lines 7 and 107, the announcement added. DBR Metro Project Directorate has not yet commented on Hungarian daily origo.hu’s query as to why the test operation is necessary.
