Aszód, neighboring villages, undertake HUF 3.4 bln sewerage project

The Hungarian city of Aszód and 13 surrounding communities are undertaking a HUF 3.4 billion sewerage and sewage treatment program, Mihály Vircsák, who heads the general contractor for the project, told MTI on Tuesday.
The program involves building almost 85 km of sewage lines.
European Union and state funding is covering HUF 2.8 billion of the cost of the project, which is expected to finish in November 2012.
