ReneSola sells 38 MW project in Poland

Green Energy

ReneSola Inc announced that it has sold 38 MW (megawatt) of solar projects located in Poland to Danish solar investor Obton, according to nasdaq.com.

The portfolio comprises 38 solar utility projects in Poland, with a capacity of 1 MW for each. The value of the deal was not disclosed. All of them were secured by ReneSola in Poland's solar power auction held in December last year and are qualified under the country's Contract for Difference (CFD) scheme to get 15-year guaranteed tariffs.

ReneSola has sold these projects to Obton at the "Notice to Proceed" stage. ReneSola will take care of the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and project financing and will hand over the capacity to Obton when the plants achieve commercial operations.
