MVM Zöld Generáció Building HUF 11.5 bln Solar Park
MVM Zöld Generáció, the renewables unit of state-owned energy company MVM, launched the construction of a HUF 11.5 billion solar park in Kunmadaras (155 km east of Budapest) yesterday, according to mfor.hu.
The investment, due to start commercial operation in Q2 2023, is supported by a HUF 4.3 bln European Union grant.
The 28.7MW park will power close to 15,000 homes.
MVM Zöld Generáció operates more than 100 solar parks and seven wind farms in Hungary.
