MET Group Launches Solar Parks in Hungary

MET Group, an energy company based in Switzerland with Hungarian roots, started the commercial operation of two solar parks in the west of Hungary on Friday, according to a reprot by news agency MTI.

MET Group commissioned a 51 MW park in Gerjen and a 45 MW park in Söjtör. The parks will generate enough electricity to power around 50,000 homes.

The group financed the parks with the issue of a corporate bond in 2021.
