One of Hungary's largest solar power parks can start production in the summer near Kiskunhalas (135 km southeast of Budapest), in Hungary's sunniest landscape.

The specialists of Forest-Vill Kft. will soon finish the construction of the substation connected to the solar farm and the related infrastructure, writes profitline.hu.

After its handover, the 48 MW solar park will be able to produce the electricity needed to supply approximately 30,000 households annually, making a significant contribution to the replacement of imported fossil energy sources and sustainability in Hungary.

Construction of the 132/22kV electrical substation connected to the Kiskunhalas solar power plant will be completed this month, enabling the solar power plant to be connected to the national electricity grid. Forest-Vill Kft. started work on the substation jointly with Phlegon Kft. in May 2022.
