According to the government's plans, HUF 71 billion will be provided between 2021 and 2027 for implementing urban green infrastructure and nature-based solutions, State Secretary Responsible for Regional Development Csaba Latorcai announced yesterday, writes profitline.hu.
Latorcai said at the opening event of the Hungarian network of Nature-based solutions that green infrastructure investments, as well as nature-based solutions, could be widely used, as their design is cost-effective.
With their help, settlements can improve their resilience and face more effectively the natural threats exacerbated by climate change, he added.
