Green Genius, Sequoia strike 66 MW Polish solar deal

Green Genius and Sequoia Investment Management Company Limited, acting as an investment advisor on behalf of Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund Limited, are to finance the construction of 66 MW (megawatt) solar photovoltaic (PV) plants in Poland, renews.biz reports.
Both parties came up to an agreement of PLN 175 million (some USD 39.5 million) to fund the projects.
"The combination of Green Genius track record and Sequoia funding will increase green and independent energy generation in the region", said Green Genius chief financial officer Rokas Bancevicius.
Green Genius, a renewable energy developer operating in eight European countries plans to complete the construction of 66 MW plants in Poland in early 2023.
