Green Genius, Polenergia team up for Lithuanian offshore wind tender

Renewable energy developer Green Genius, part of Lithuania's Modus Group, and Polish energy company Polenergia SA have signed a cooperation agreement to compete together in Lithuania's first offshore wind tender, according to an announcement Tuesday, Renewablesnow.com reports.
The partners will participate in the auction for the country's first wind farm in the Baltic Sea, of 700 megawatt, which is scheduled for September 2023.
They have entered into an investment agreement for the formation of a joint venture, which needs to be approved by competition regulators.
It was earlier announced that the companies have agreed on key terms of the partnership.
