Ansaldo receives €77mln order from Dunamenti Erőmű

Italian energy company Ansaldo Energia has received two orders worth a combined €77 million to supply, install, operate and maintain a gas-turbine generator for the Suez-Electrabel-owned Hungarian power company Dunamenti Erőmű.
Ansaldo Energia is owned by Italian aircraft-maker and military-industry company Finmeccanica.
Dunamenti Erőmű CEO Tibor Kuhl told Econews on Thursday that the orders are part of a €200 million project to transform one of the power plant's six blocks into a combined-cycle gas-turbine block, whose capacity will increase from 215MW to 400MW as a result. (MTI – Econews)
