The economic recovery has slowed significantly in recent months due to supply chain damage and energy market problems, Gábor Regős, head of the Macroeconomic Business Unit at Századvég Economic Research, told business daily Világgazdaság.

Following Germany and Hungary, the Czech Republic's cabinet recently lowered its GDP expectations for 2021.

The manufacturing industry, including the automotive industry, will suffer huge losses this year due to a shortage of raw materials and a drastic rise in producer prices.

In addition, according to the expert, there is no way out of this situation in the short term.
