MOL refinery back at full capacity

Energy Trade

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL's refinery in Százhalombatta (about 24 km south of Budapest), south of the capital, is back at full capacity, MOL told state news wire MTI on Thursday.

MOL said on June 14 that daily capacity at the Danube Refinery could be cut by about 8,000 tonnes from 21,000 because of a fire at an atmospheric and vacuum (AV) distillation unit.

On Thursday, MOL said the refinery was operating again at full capacity after the necessary repairs were made. The other two AV units at the refinery operated at full capacity while the third one was down, it added.
