Energy Trade

A government decree published in the latest issue of the official gazette Magyar Közlöny guarantees utilities companies storage capacity for imported gas until the end of 2014.

The temporary measures apply to gas traders on regulated, as well as deregulated market. The capacity allocated by the system operator may not be resold.

Hungary's government announced earlier that it would accelerate the topping up of gas stores for the winter.
