EC extends review of E.On's Mol bid

As the EU's competition authority, the European Commission has once again extended its review of German gas supplier E.On Ruhrgas AG's bid to buy gas assets from Hungary's Mol Rt, Napi Gazdaság reported. The new deadline is January 12, 2006. It was the second time in a month that the European Commission had delayed the decision on the business deal. The postponement means that the figures of Mol's gas business branch will be included in the company's total results for the year.
