Agreement reached between Russia and Ukraine on gas price
“Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Russia on a provisional price for gas deliveries during the coming winter months. Poroshenko said the deal was reached at talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Milan on Friday, and he hoped it would end the gas dispute between the two countries,” AFP reported yesterday.
Hungary’s underground natural gas storage was nearly 60% full at the end of September according to government sources and the refill of the storage facilities was uninterrupted in spite of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, where most of Hungary’s natural gas supplies come from.
