Dutch military units are expected to arrive this month to Hungary’s Bakony mountain range for an international army exercise, according to Hungarian news reports.
Hungarian daily Magyar Nemzet cited a Government Decision, which acknowledges the Dutch army’s entrance to Hungary from January 16 - February 26 with a delegation of 2,700 soldiers accompanied by military vehicles and helicopters.
Residents of the area have reportedly been informed about the presence of the military personnel. The Hungarian Army told Hungarian daily Magyar Idők that the Dutch Army last held a military exercise in Hungary in the spring of 2014.
