China lifts ban on imports of Hungarian duck, goose
China has lifted a ban on imports of duck and goose products from Hungary, in place since 2015 because of an outbreak of bird flu, the Ministry of Agriculture announced on Friday.
The decision by Chinese authorities allows three Hungarian companies to restart deliveries of duck and goose to China, the ministry said.
The decision to lift the ban also opens the path for additional Hungarian poultry exporters to deliver meat to the Asian country, after going through a relevant application process.
