ÁKK mandates Bank of China, HSBC for China’s ‘panda’ bond

Hungaryʼs Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) has mandated Bank of China and HSBC to organize an issue of yuan-denominated "panda" bonds, ÁKK said on its website today.

The Panda bonds, which are distributed on the onshore Chinese market, are recommended mainly to Chinese institutional investors, the debt manager said.

The issue and pricing will depend on market circumstances, ÁKK added.
