Farmland Prices Climb 11% in 2022

Average farmland prices in Hungary rose 11% to HUF 2,186,000 per hectare last year, state news wire MTI reports, citing an analysis by Agrotax.

The average price for arable land rose 11% to HUF 2,330,000 per hectare.

Annual rent for a hectare of arable land averaged HUF 86,564 last year.

The average price for arable land reached HUF 3,055,000 per hectare in Hajdú-Bihar County and HUF 1,642,000 per hectare in Nógrád County, the analysis shows.
