Police: 4,255 unauthorized border crossings yesterday
Hungarian authorities registered 4,255 unauthorized border crossings into Hungary yesterday, data published on the official website of the Hungarian Police revealed this morning.

The majority of illegal border crossers, 4,171, who were registered by police involved the Croatian-Hungarian border, while 83 illegal border crossings were registered at the Serbian-Hungarian border, where Hungary has built a fence as a “temporary measure” to prevent asylum seekers from entering the country.
On Tuesday a total of 6,644 “illegal border crossings” into Hungary were registered, 6,496 on the Croatian-Hungarian border, and 145 on the Serbian-Hungarian border.
On Monday, a total of 5,335 “illegal border crossings” into Hungary were registered – 5,224 on the Croatian border and 110 on the Serbian border.
Data from the Hungarian Police revealed that a total of 291,618 “illegal migrants” have been recorded entering the country since the beginning of the year.
