Nestlé Hungária plant to make almost 1,400 tonnes of holiday product

Food industry giant Nestlé's moulded chocolate figure plant in Diosgyőr (NE Hungary) will turn out almost 1,400 tonnes of holiday product this winter, Nestlé Hungária told MTI. About 80% of the chocolate Santas and other holiday figures will be exported. The plant produced more than 2,800 tonnes of moulded chocolate figures, 73.5 million units, last year. This year, output is set to rise to more than 3,200 tonnes. Nestlé Hungária had revenue of HUF 93.1 billion in 2011, up from HUF 80.4 billion in the previous year, according to public records.
