Farmer Expands Livestock Business With HUF 600 mln Investment
The farmer Imre Horváth told state news wire MTI he is investing around HUF 600 million to expand his livestock farm in Töltéstava (99 km northwest from Budapest).
Horváth, who runs his business as a sole proprietor, said European Union and state funding is covering about half of the cost of the construction of a hog farm with a capacity for 1,950 animals. The hog farm is expected to be completed by the end of March 2023, he added.
Horváth's business had a revenue of HUF 518 million last year.
