Balaton Agrár awarded HUF 464 mln grant for grape processing plant
Agribusiness Balaton Agrár was awarded a HUF 464 million grant for a HUF 1 billion grape processing plant it is building in Ordacsehi, near Lake Balaton, on Friday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
Agriculture Ministry state secretary Zsolt Feldman said the plant could boost the incomes of vintners who work the close to 3,500 hectares of the Balatonboglár wine region.
Construction of the plant will start in March and finish within two years, Balaton Agrar CEO József Tavaszi said.
He noted that the company has its own 200-hectare vineyard.
