Agricultural output HUF 2.9 tln last year
The total gross output of agriculture exceeded HUF 2.9 trillion in 2020, which is a 4.6% increase compared to the same period of the previous year, with grain corn, and milk production contributing the most, according to data from the Central Statistical Office.
According to the publication, the output of crop production and horticultural products was HUF 1.735 tln, 7.3% higher than in the previous year.
Fresh vegetables contributed HUF 200 billion, fresh fruit, grapes, and wine HUF 161 bln, live animals HUF 708 bln, and animal products HUF 296 bln (with milk production responsible for HUF 210 bln).
