CIB Lízing appoints new CEO
CIB Lízing Group has announced the appointment of Csaba Fekete as its new CEO as part of ongoing structural reorganization, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
Fekete will be in charge of bank cross-sales as well as vendor financing. The professional has a proven track record of more than two decades in the finance industry.
CIB Group started structural reorganizations last autumn. The arrival of Fekete is the third phase of this project. In line with the company’s growth–oriented long-term strategy, the task of Fekete is to increase CIBʼs share of the local leasing market and to boost placements in both residential and corporate segments.
"I think of it as my primary goal to keep strengthening the market positions of one of the most significant companies on the Hungarian leasing market," Fekete noted.
Due partly to the central bank’s new "NHP fix" growth credit package, new leasing financing is expected to increase by more than 20%, according to Balázs Szabó, head of CIBʼs corporate branch.
