BMC hosts guitarist Marc Ribot

Born in New Jersey in 1954, guitarist Marc Ribot - best known for his long collaboraton with singer-songwriter Tom Waits - will perform at the Budapest Music Club on May 17, according to the Facebook site of the event.

Ribotʼs styles vary between free jazz, avant-garde, rock and Cuban music. He’s also known for collaborating with other musicians, most notably Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Diana Krall, Chuck Berry, and John Lurie.

Now Ribot is touring with his own solo production, according to the Facebook event page. Admission to the concerts costs HUF 9,500.
