Academy of Music’s ‘Day of Talent 2019’

Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music presents a family program dubbed “Day of Talent 2019” on February 10, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

Alongside concerts by outstanding young talents, film screenings, lectures and roundtable discussions will also be staged. The event opens at 11 a.m. with a concert featuring Händel’s “Harp Concerto in H major”, Vivaldi’s “Flute Concerto in D major" and Haydn’s “Cello Concerto No. 1 in C major".

Visitors can see a documentary on the famous composer Zoltán Kodály at the Auditorium, while the Cupola Hall will present a concert by the Church Music Department Choir at 1.30 p.m.

The last event starts at 6.30 p.m., with a recital by Kristina Vocetková and Jan Vojtek featuring a Rachmaninov sonata for violin and piano, the press release stated. A more detailed program and ticket purchase is available at zeneakademia.hu, the website of the academy.
