Teleperformance buys 70% stake in Hungarian call center company
Teleperformance, the world's second biggest provider of outsourced customer relationship management (CRM) and contact center services, has purchased 70% of Hungarian call center company Photel Kft for an undisclosed price, Teleperformance announced.
Founded in 2002, Photel provides its clients with a wide range of outsourced CRM and contact center services, such as customer acquisition, customer service and technical assistance. Photel generates about 80% of its revenue from inbound business and 20% from outbound business. The company is based in Budapest, where it operates nearly 100 workstations. In addition to offering services on the local market, Photel runs multilingual offshore operations, mainly in Balkan and Slavic languages.
