Synergon wins tender to build hospital IT system

Competition

IT company Synergon Nyrt has won a tender to rebuild the entire IT system of Hungary's Central Military Hospital with a bid of about Ft 900 million, Synergon announced on Monday.

The company will supply and install all hardware, software and network equipment at the hospital. Synergon's subcontractor Signal Kft will be in charge of cabling, as well as installing a nurses' calling system and a network of clocks. The companies will also set up a VOIP telephone system.
Hungary's Defense Ministry called the tender in January 2006. Synergon expects to complete the project by Q2 2007. It has also signed a contract to provide support for the entire system.
