The Hungarian Minister of Economics György Matolcsy and senior vice president of ZTE Corporation Zhu Jinyun signed a co-operation agreement about the establishment of ZTE's new European regional network operation center (NOC) and a call center in Budapest, Hungary.

This NOC together with the call center will improve the delivery capacity of ZTE overall in Europe. Based on the new NOC, ZTE can provide high speed, high quality and very effective management services for European telecom operators. The new NOC is a comprehensive solution of management services including a customer service center, a network monitoring center, a fault handing center, a  network performance optimization center, a call center, a spare part management- and repair center.

The new NOC, built with the capacity to expand up to 600 square meters, is able to host more than 100 workplaces. It is designed to manage up to 40,000 network elements. It can supervise and manage a broad range of elements both in fixed- and mobile networks. The total investment will be up to €10 million in the next 2-3 years and will provide new job opportunities for more than 100 highly educated engineers.

With the test-operation starting in June 2012 the headcount of the NOC will reach up to 40 local engineers and the call center creates 15 new workplaces by the end of this year with a €4 million investment.

ZTE has many projects and great operator partners in Europe. In recent years, ZTE has shifted its focus to the European market. With its rapid market expansion, ZTE is increasing the scale of investment in the region and has chosen Budapest as the location of NOC and call center because of the good human resources, the supportive governmental openness and the natural environment of the city. ZTE has been operating a subsidiary in Hungary for more than six years. The NOC is a new investment and important milestone to strenghten the company's regional presence thus serving its European partners on the highest level.

ZTE Corporation is a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions.
