Wizz Air to raise winter timetable capacity in Hungary

Wizz Air will increase capacity on its Hungarian winter timetable flights by 12% this year, the Hungarian low-cost airline told state news agency MTI.

Wizz Air will add flights to London Gatwick, Oslo and Castellón to the Budapest timetable, and to Palma de Mallorca, Larnaca and Malta to the Debrecen timetable. The winter timetable comes into effect on October 27.

Wizz Air flies to 81 destinations in 31 countries from its bases in Budapest and Debrecen. It operates from Hungary with a fleet of 15 aircraft. Last year, Wizz Airʼs passenger numbers in Hungary rose almost 20% to more than 5 million.
