Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air signed an agreement with CTC Aviation and the Central European Flight Academy, under which the entities will jointly offer a cadet training programs for five years, beginning the first course this September with 40 cadets, Wizz Air said in a press release yesterday.

The program complies with EASA regulations and the acquisition of an ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) for Airbus A320 will be the part of the course.

Cadets who complete the program will be offered jobs as co-pilots with Wizz Air, and could later be trained to fly Wizz Air’s planes as pilots, hence supporting the airlineʼs growth.
