Waberer’s International Zrt, today announced continuous growth in the first half of 2015 with a turnover in excess of €261 mln in the first six months of the year, 8% higher than in the same period last year, according to a press release issued by the company today.

“EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) was €37.6 mln in the first half of 2015, surpassing the figure for the first half of 2014 by 15.3%,” the press release notes. The company was able to attain this result due to its “ongoing focus on efficiency and operational optimization, despite the increasing competition on the international freight market and new laws and regulations enacted in Europe, which implicate certain restrictions with regard to international freight operators”, the release adds.

Waberer’s is Hungary’s leading logistics enterprise and the market leader of domestic refrigerated freight and distribution. Waberer’s has a fleet of more than 3,400 truck-trailers that completed a total of 213 million kilometers on European roads in the first half, 5.7% more than in the same period last year, the press release adds.
