TU-PLAST installs HUF 1 bln production line
Plastic tube maker TU-PLAST has installed a HUF 1 billion production line at its plant in Debrecen, boosting capacity by 25%, business director Arnold Szegő told MTI. TU-PLAST won almost HUF 200 million in European Union funding and state co-financing for the project, Szegő said. The new line started operating last summer. Since then, headcount has risen by 18 to more than 100. TU-PLAST had revenue of HUF 3 billion last year. This year, it targets turnover of HUF 3.6 billion. The company can turn out more than 70m tubes a year. It exports 90% of output.
