Analysis

The KÉSz Group, the consortium of Magyar Építő and Reneszánsz and the consortium of Penta and Switelsky are the three contenders to implement the reconstruction of Kossuth Square in front of the Hungarian Parliament building in Budapest, the daily Magyar Nemzet reported on Friday. Magyar Nemzet said that the winning bidder for the project to renovate the square, to be called the National Main Square, will be selected at an electronic Dutch auction in the coming days. A previous tender for the reconstruction of Kossuth Square concluded unsuccessfully last in December. The selected contractor will have until March 2014 to complete the project.
