Tension grows between union and Hankook

The Federation of Chemical Workers of Hungary (VDSZ) called for the government to enforce labor law and occupational safety regulations on Hankook Tire Magyarország Kft., vg.hu reported on yesterday.

 “Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has no idea what’s going on at Hankook’s plants in Rácalmás, otherwise he wouldn’t praise this company to the skies”, the VDSZ press release added. VDSZ has already won a series of labor lawsuits against Hankook, the union leader added.
