Waberer's invests in 120 Mercedes-Benz lorries

Hungarian road haulage company Waberer's International signed an agreement to buy 120 Mercedes-Benz tractors, president and CEO György Waberer said yesterday without disclosing the price.
The purchase is on top of the 1,000 trucks they planned to buy this year, noting that a double-digit growth of sales allows for the bigger than planned expansion. The deal would bring the company's fleet to 3,400. Waberer's International had after-tax profit of €12.2 mln on sales of €430.9 mln last year.
