Vodafone boasts outdoor 4G coverage at Balaton close to 100%

Vodafone has boosted its outdoor 4G coverage around Lake Balaton close to 100%, CEO Diego Massidda said yesterday.

Vodafone has expanded its 4G network with frequency licences in the 800 and 2,600 MHz bands that it acquired at a sale last year for HUF 30.2 bln, Massidda noted.

VodafoneĘĽs outdoor 3G coverage, which allows data transfer speeds up to 42 Mbps, stands at 98.4%. Data transfer speeds up to 75 Mpbs are available with 4G service.
