Porcelain makers Villeroy and Boch AG Magyarország aim to reach a 10% revenue increase, up to HUF 22 bln, this year, Gábor Hideg, the managing director of the Hungarian unit, said yesterday.
The company expects the revenue increase as a result of restructuring in its product portfolio by shifting its weight toward high-end products, the managing director said.
The firm’s turnover in Hungary was HUF 20 bln last year, with HUF 17 bln coming from its exports. The company’s Hungarian plant in Hódmezővásárhely, southeastern Hungary, turned out 1.2 bln units last year, Hungarian news agency MTI said.
