Ver-Bau invests HUF 400 mln at industrial park
Construction company Ver-Bau has invested HUF 400 mln in an industrial park on the outskirts of Kecskemét, a company official informed Hungarian news agency MTI.
About half of the cost of the investment was covered by a grant from the European Union and the Hungarian state, said Tünde Szabó.
Seven tenants are expected to move into the park within three years.
Ver-Bau had revenue of HUF 6.9 bln last year. Turnover was lifted by a contract to build a plant and R&D centre for the local unit of German automotive industry supplier Knorr-Bremse in Kecskemét.
Ver-Bau is owned by its founder, János Versegi. It employs almost 90 people, of whom more than one-third are engineers or office workers.
