UPC Hungary’s subscription numbers reach 1.8 mln
Subscription numbers of television, internet and telecommunications service provider UPC Magyarország grew by approximately 100,000 last year as compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 1.8 million, the firm said yesterday.
The company said that revenue in the country rose by 5%, however, it did not disclose exact figures. According to public records, UPC Magyarország had turnover of HUF 58.9 billion in 2014, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
The company spent more than HUF 15 bln on network developments, hooking up some 60,000 homes, MTI said, adding that the company controls 27% of Hungaryʼs digital cable TV market.
