Teva to launch production at expanded plant in summer

Israeli drugmaker Teva will start production in the summer at its base in Sajóbabony, which was expanded with an investment of HUF 2.3 billion, the companyʼs local unit said yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Teva began the expansion last September.
Teva has invested HUF 350 bln in Hungary over the past twenty years. It employs more than 3,000 people at three bases in the country, in Debrecen, Gödöllő, near Budapest and in Sajóbabony.
